Easwaramma Prerana Inc. is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to
- Provide Education to under-privileged students. A Unique educational initiative is said to be “Developing Brilliant Minds, Competent Hands and Compassionate Hearts” as well as ensuring each student’s personal self-transformation along their chosen upliftment path. A Gurukulam System created with the inspiration from Sri Sathya Sai Baba of India, provides residential schooling from high school to university levels completely free of cost. Program began with providing tuition to specific subjects around the year 2005, later moved on to sponsor higher education to under privileged students finally began to offer residential mode since 2010 High school (11/12 grades), Degree and Masters. Program caters 360-degree framework to students including Moral education, Vedic knowledge, Participation in Social Service, Spoken English and regular Academic Curriculum.
- Saving the lives of children born with congenital heart defects (CHDS) by supporting free pediatric cardiac surgeries. We fund handpicked surgeries in collaboration with Pediatric Cardiac Centers of Excellence across Developing Countries. Program collaborates with global organizations to address the global burden in pediatric defects by sharing common vision to address the entire spectrum – Prevention, Screening, and Cure.
- Undertaking specific needs in supporting families during difficult times such as providing COVID relief, meeting ends during recovery from long term health recovery situations, providing helping hands to good Samaritans/likeminded organizations works in segments of educational and health to Tribals.
Why the Name Easwaramma Prerana
Easwaramma Divine mother of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Prerana is a Samskrtam word for inspiration. Sri Sathya Sai Baba has been our source of inspiration. His teachings influenced our lives in many ways, serving the society has been a key message SWAMI (as we lovingly call) has preached all his life. We make no distinction as to who or where we serve instead that: There is only one religion, the religion of love. There is only one caste, the caste of humanity. There is only language, the language of the heart and There is only one God, and this God is omnipresent.
Based on Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s direction to focus on Long-term sustained projects, handful likeminded friends came together to scale up their social involement in a structured and more sustained long-term manner. Concept of having a charity incorporation under IRS code 501c(3) was initiated in year 2017, subsequent research and ideation brought strong togetherness amongst team members. Soon after a few projects have been onboarded and successfully executed. Which subsequently led to experience on managing an organizational ways of working. Finally, Easwaramma Prerana Inc was established late 2022.
